i know.. it's about time. i've been really busy doing.. well.. stuff. like..

moddin' out the snapper.. aka sr828

before: NOTE THE TOP SECRET ARUNDEL 12OZ BEER HOLDER (MORE BELOW) - A surFnick creation.

after: i know the grass (or lack of) looks like shiet.. but i'm laying some sod next weekend.. between races ; )

much cooler.. huh?? just threw on some mountain bike bars and stem.. had to fabricate a shim for it though.

DO WORK!

here's the top secret arundel beer cage.. that's right.. you saw it here first. this thing is off the hook. very few mods were made to the cage. the foam used for this project is the same foam that was used to insulate the last space shuttles.

note: i only drink coors light in a pinch

up close in all it's glory - call dave0.. i'm sure he can get you some.

and then we had baby girls graduation from her mother's day out school.. it was pretty cute - she's the one in the middle

she's the cutest girl in the world..

and the dance recital..

last one.. i'm jumping the gun a little but but here's my planner in action. it's part of a much larger scale project.. i need to devote an entire entry to just this subject.

out for now..

what have i been up to.. well.. alot. but first i have to give a HUGE shout-out to jd and richey miller from synectics (if you need web hosting look him up - he also hosts the txbra.com site) for hooking up surfernick.com.. thanks guys! and speaking of richey.. congratulate him the next time you see him. he's engaged to the tiny but mighty lone star hottie, bibi.. check out her blog: http://www.bibimartinez.blogspot.com/

i haven't been riding too much.. hopefully enough. colonel's called me a few weeks ago and asked me if i wanted john cobb to fit me on my scott plasma tt bike.. i jumped at the chance. for those who haven't been to the new colonels shop, stop by.. it's rad. the new fit station they have is very cool.. and VERY informative. here's a pic of rick and john setting up another fit.. they definitely know their stuff..

my dad had emergency surgery last week.. he's still in ICU but he doing better. thanks for all the calls and prayers..

bought a bunch of lawn equipment.. very expensive but fun. i figure that since i'm home more, i should be taking care of my own lawn. did lots of research and bought some nice stuff.. including a husqvarna chainsaw. for those who don't have a chainsaw.. buy one. very satisfying ; ) it's what god intended a man to do.. just remember to replant when you cut one down. our grandchildren will need a place to build a treehouse when it's time.

now that i have all the lawn equipment.. i had to put it somewhere so i rebuilt a 10 x 12 vinyl shed that donman gave me. he decided it was time to build a custom shed, nicer that my house, so he gave me his leftovers - it's great having him as a friend. one man's trash is another man's treasure.

my motorpace scooter is in action again.. it's going through a little face-lift right now. wait till i post the final pics ; ) it's sick.. well, as cool as a scooter can be. i also finally decided to restore the kawasaki ar80 (see post below) i've had sitting the back yard.. it's a work in progress.

lots of other little things but i think i've bored you enough. i'll periodically post pictures of the projects in action..

here's one of baby girl (emrY) hard at work..

and one of my neighbor's tree after the storm we had a few weeks ago..
