haircut and tdi's.

i got a hair cut today.. for some reason, i'm fascinated with haircuts - ask kerkhof. typical.. euro-mullet/pho-hawk. i'm not really sure that i can pull it off. my euro-mullet is actually is 80's rat tail. oh well.. i'm still giving it a shot. not a very busy day today. called duroy on my way to wor to talk about ALL my problems. i guess i pretty screwed up cause the state pays him to take cases like me : ) but i'm working on it. since i'm not riding, i guess i'm just going to smoke some meat this weekend and maybe do some work on my car. when i say "some", i use that term loosely. i've got about 259 (roughly) things that i need to do to that car. it's got a 132,000 miles on it.. i guess that's to be expected. driving this car till' i die... surFy

wrecked..

i've been working on the house like a mad man.. i hope to leave the hood in the next couple of years.. but i've still got a long way to go. i think my entire house is a city code violation. yo.. check this. i must admit, i'm a fawley fan - although his site SUX. he's one of my favorite young guns with my man scottie v. and kerkhof. he's on fire right now so look out. i'm am idiot.. as you probably know. if you haven't heard.. big el is a dad! he had (katie actually) a little girl - lynna. he's going to be a great dad. - out surFy

lack of sleep..

so i can't sleep anymore.. don't know why. i just can't. i'm sitting here contemplating what i going to wear to work tomorrow. surly i have something else to think about but no.. not so much. i did see the move the departed tonite.. wow, great flick - a damn good movie. i might have to go see it again. i might start working out tomorrow.. then again.. prolly not. i haven't touched my bike since amli.. and only about 4 times before that since hhh. i think that i'm going to commute to work all winter.. as long as it's not cold. surfy

not much to report

not much to report.. taking lots of time off the bike. i've been working in the shop A TON.. small odds and ends nothing too big. it's been a loooooong run.. maybe a bit too long sometimes. it's very wierd.. at times i want to walk away forever and other times i can't get enough. all the times i've told myself that i'm going to quit and then i think back to most of my greatest moments and they've been on my bike. just typing that sentence (or fragment) makes me laugh.. some of the stuff i've seen and the people i've met. my greatest friends in the world are people whom i've met while riding. i'll wake up tomorrow, hopefully, and will once again renew myself.. surFy

SHOP PICTURES (Workbench Area) before new cabinet doors and door pulls new cabinets and work bench ; ) the workbench is super solid (2.5" thick) Next up is a nice big wood vice and a new finishing nailer (cordless - of course)

sorry i haven't updated all week.. i've been super busy in the shop. i'll post some pictures of the progress.. off-season is almost here!
