dude... millar is packing some heat.

"Under police pressure, Millar admitted he used the banned blood-booster on two occasions - once in 2001 and again in 2003. Despite never failing a doping control, that was enough to seal his doom and end Millar's rock 'n' roll lifestyle." from VeloNews

since when did rockers start using epo.. that's the stoopidst thing i've ever read. correct me if i'm wrong but i thought the "rock 'n' roll lifestyle" was hott ass, gettin' high, a little jack daniels, completely wrecking your life, and then repenting.. i guess he got two outta five right.

maybe the new "rock 'n' roll lifestyle" is tights (post 80's), MAYBE a few cookies after your 800 calorie dinner, talk about the time you got drunk last year, some myspace, and then staying up a little later than normal to watch a rated R movie... WOW. well.. i guess the heroine addicted rockers and cyclists have the whole anorexic look going for 'em. that's cool...

rode out to the wednesday niter last night... felt like sheit. i've decided to actually start taking care of myself again... little more water.. little less wine.. massages at least once a week.. some chiropractic work.. ya know - the essentials. actually had a deep massage at lunch yesterday.. it killed me. i knew that i wouldn't feel great.. but damn.. i didn't think that i'd feel that bad. ohhh well... it's cool just riding out and see all the ftw crew.. life's too short to live in dallas : ) i didn't see blacksnake there.. must have still been at the zoo checking out the pit vipers.

hmmm.. big weekend.. let's see. we've got the firecracker 100 RALLY which i will be participating in - it's kind of far away though. after that, nothing. maybe think of farley and what he's doing.

well.. probably do a little woodworking.. last year i built a woodworking shop. it's pretty pimp.. it's about 180 sq. ft., air conditioned, cable tv, and all the tools you need.. besides a planer and a jointer - which i'm searching for. it's cool.. you start with just a pile of wood and, in time, it turns into something you created. pretty self rewarding. i'm not very good at it yet.. it just takes lots of practice, technique, and patience.. which i don't have a lot of right now. i'm currently finishing my bathroom renovation project which involved some woodwork. i've finished 80% of it.. i'll post some pictures tonite.

see ya at the wednesday niter.. and leo, take it easy on me : )

man.. it's crazy being a star : ). always under a microscope.. shoe covers.. no shoe covers.. my height and weight?? actually that's why i've been sooooo busy.

i decided to start a surFnick autobiography.. encompassing everything.. everything that you wanted to know. a chronological timeline of my height AND weight since birth.. surFnick fashion crazes.. the yellow gloves and why jaime hates them.. the inception of the "surFnick shoe cover".. the first pair.. pictures and actual sketch diagrams of models that never made it to production.. my first margaritas with eller.. bret's weight flux.. my criminal record.. favorite baseball cards.. every pair of blades i ever owned.. EVERYTHING. i'm hoping to release it in the spring of '07... so stay tuned.

here's another pic of my favorite "thing" in the world... headin' to the store with all her babies.

just trying to ride my bike as much as possible. heading back to brazil in a couple of weeks.. i think. i never count my chickens before they hatch.. i haven't seen a ticket yet : ( it's alright.. i'm just using it for training for the duncan dehydrator in july anyway.

gonna ride with kerkhof tomorrow.. that's always fun.

my favorite place on earth.. sunny, california. thanks for the pictures jamie! this is where i use to live in mission beach, ca. .. hence the name surFernick.

i spent many hours on this bench.. staring off into the water. some of the best times of my life... gawd i miss it! these pictures mean alot to me : )

if you look carefully at the top picture.. you can see a roller coaster. next time you're in southern california, you need to go to belmont park.

here's the drill... shot gun three large beers at hurricanes (next door to the mission roller coaster).. then hop on the coaster for the ride of your life. i smile just thinking about it. the surf shop i worked at is adjacent to the coaster.. emerald city. you have to stop by there as well.. buy a t-shirt, postcard, or something. the final mission is to walk south on mission blvd to sara's mexican food (it's about four blocks down on the left). kick back and order a shrip burrito.. actually order two and bring one back for me. now... take a deep breath and take it all in... it's the greatest place on earth. i'm jealous..
