am i getting old?? well i guess that's a bit rhetorical given that each second that ticks by we're chalking up a second lost. but i mean "old".. ya know.. when the "young people" start to look at you a little different. like you're not part of them any longer. it's a funny thing.. i don't feel old.. i, at least i think, i don't look old.. i still listen to "hip" music - i haven't moved to the 80's station yet.. i dress trendy.. what gives?? i guess it doesn't really matter.. you're only as young as you feel. i must say though.. if you want to feel real young just stop by the gym around 6am and you'll instantly be a teenager again : ) mall walkers galore.. besides the whole getting old thing.. i feel good. great actually. it's amazing how good working out makes you feel.. the tightness, the soreness, the overall well being. i forgot how much i missed it.. and now i can't wait for my next workout! in my last post i told ya about the plans to redo the kitchen floor while mama was out of town.. it was a beotch.. but i finished it. for those who have never laid tile, don't do it. pay chopper. it's not that it's crazy hard.. it's just that it can be super stressful depending on what type of tile your lying. i choose, arguably, the toughest style and pattern to install. don't be scared.. go big or go home. here's what i started with.. up next.. lighting, self made concrete counter top, and cabinets. during.. final product.. please excuse the mess. i still have to finish the trim. what do you think?? post a comment and let me know.. and remember.. that's actually porcelain tile. it's the best of both worlds. it's as durable as tile but you have the rich look of wood - plus it's a pretty trick pattern. most people have no idea it's not wood until i tell them. next time you're in the market for new floors, make sure you give chopper (mckelvy flooring) he's the best in the business - i get all my flooring there. gotta run and clean the kitchen.. -out tilemaster surF
