kansas city and stuff... i kn0w it's been a while since my last update.. so thanks for coming back. for those who don't know.. i'm finishing the season with some guest appearances for the mercy cycling team. this past weekend were my first races with the team at the tour of kansas city. for those who haven't done these races before, they're hard.. real hard. the circuit race on saturday has a "hill" that's about a 1km long and steep - i cried everytime up it. sunday is a pretty flat 8 turn crit course.. not very technical but very hot. they said the temp on the pavement was 106! the racing went well for the team. super strong chad cagle ended up 2nd overall behind a flying brian jenzen (jelly belly).. and then alex welch (mercy) rounding out the top three overall. i think i was somewhere around 10th both days... we'll be heading up to chicago this week for nationals.. wish us luck! here's my upcoming schedule: August 12 - 13: Tour of Kansas City August 19: Extran Pro/Am Challenge (Downers Grove, IL) August 20: US Elite Criterium National Championships (Downers Grove, IL) August 26 - 27: Hotter 'n Hell (Wichita Falls, TX) Sept 1 - 3: Gateway Cup (St. Louis, MO) Sept 4 - 10: Vuelta de Baja (Baja, Mexico) Sept 30 - Oct 1: Mercy Cycling Classic (Ft.
